Ava Deeley

My name's Ava! I really love working in a team environment as it inspires me to do well and makes work so enjoyable. I love writing, reading, playing with my brother's cat and dog, and adore my succulents to death.

I have worked at two cafes as a front of house member. I worked for two months at a cafe called the Maple Cafe where I worked the floor - taking customer's orders, clearing and setting tables, bringing food and drinks to them. I also worked the tills when customers came to order or pay their bills, and also closed the store in the afternoons.

I work at another cafe called Maxie Coffee where I man the tills, make food preparations - like making egg and bacon sandwiches - provide coffee support, and ensure customer's are happy.

Through both these jobs I learnt teamwork, responsibility, time management and customer service, I would love to further these skills in my future employment.

I completed high school until year 12 where I am currently completing a diploma of university studies (the equivalent of year 12) and will be looking to complete a bachelor of Arts, and then a masters of teaching next year.
