I am currently completing a Masters' in Clinical Psychology (full-time, 2 years) at the Institute for Social Neuroscience, with an expected completion date of July 2026. I completed a BA in Psychology and Indigenous Studies, as well as an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science (including Honours-equivalent thesis), with Monash University. I am experienced in a variety of research and healthcare support roles including research assistant/coordinator, clinic coordinator, allied health/research administration, disability support work, and case coordination/referral officer.

Clinical Psychology Placement (Placement 3) at Wangaratta Therapeutic Community (2026-01 – Present)

Longterm, inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre

• Conducting weekly individual therapy sessions with residents
• Facilitating group therapy sessions, including Matrix Model groups, dynamic interpersonal therapy groups, and psychoeducational groups

Research Assistant (Step 2) - Hearing Research Team at Murdoch Children's Research Institute (2023-05 – Present)

Projects: The Victorian Childhood Longitudinal Databank (VicCHILD); The Otoferlin-Gene Mediated Hearing Loss Natural History Study (OTOF-NHS)

• Language and Learning Assessments: conduct regular one-on-one language and learning assessments with children aged 5 through 12 including the CELF-5, WNV, CNRep, and WRAT
• Data management: create data collection instruments and enter data into REDCap and iMedidata, manage data as specified by relevant research protocols
• Recruitment: Speaking with families (on the phone and in person) to explain the hearing health studies we offer and follow recruitment and consent procedures
• Study coordination: maintaining a comprehensive ISF, building good relationships with study sponsors and CRAs, ensuring site-staff training is up-to-date

Research Assistant (Step 2) - Health Services & Economics at The University of Melbourne (2023-12 – 2024-06)

6-month contract. Project: Pediatric Patient Reported Outcome Measures

• Consented families for the research project face-to-face in the Royal Children's Hospital clinics

Clinic Coordinator - Caring for Hearing in Children (CHIC) at Royal Children's Hospital (2022-08 – 2024-06)

Multiple stakeholders, including Deaf Children Australia, Hearing Australia, RVEEH and MCRI are involved in the clinic and my role was to liaise between organisations, families and the hospital. Deaf Children Australia funded this role, and after approx. 6 months in the position they offered it as ongoing indefinitely due to the success in engaging families in their program. Provided resources on request to Barwon Health to help inform their coordinator role.

• Referrals: write referrals to DCA support programs after speaking with families, where appropriate. Triage the clinical referrals that are received to CHIC based on triage guidelines created by myself and the lead paediatrician of clinic
• Patient/family support: spending time speaking with all new families (as well as many review patients) and organizing their support services, coordinating their medical care, and signing them up to the My RCH Portal

Research Intern at The Centre for Community Child Health (2023-03 – 2023-06)

A 3-month research internship with the Prevention Innovation research group at the Centre for Community Child Health assisting with recruitment, assessments, data entry and administration.

Research Administration Officer (0.2 EFT) at Murdoch Children's Research Institute (2022-09 – 2023-12)

Supporting the Hearing Research Team in a range of research tasks, including editing publications, contacting participants and organizing assessments, publications tracking, updating recruitment tracking, managing CVs, and website updates

Referral Officer at St Vincent's Hospital (2020-12 – 2022-06)

Worked as the Referral Officer for Urology, ENT and Neurology in the Outpatients Department of SVHM. In this role, I was responsible for the administration of all clinics under these units, working in a case coordination team to liaise with internal and external medical staff and patients to achieve and appropriate, optimal care in the Outpatient space.

Administration Officer at Northwestern Mental Health, the Royal Melbourne Hospital (2022-05 – 2023-04)

Worked part time for the Royal Melbourne Hospital in administration for their Training and Development Unit. This involved assisting to coordinate the training of new mental health staff, as well as develop training programs for current staff.

Disability Support Worker and Receptionist at Tashacare Australia (2019-01 – 2022-01)

Worked as a Disability Support Worker and as a receptionist casually for approx. 3 years. I provided one-on-one direct support to clients with a variety of needs, with foci in both physical and mental health.

Lecturer at Connect Education (2018-01 – 2019-01)

Evaluated and revised lesson plans and course content to achieve student-centered learning. Used variety of learning modalities and support materials to facilitate learning process and accentuate presentations.
