• Manage feeding schedules, ration planning, and nutritional requirements for dairy cattle.
• Train and supervise farm workers on proper dairy handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of barns, milking parlors, and animal housing facilities.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain milking machines and farm equipment regularly.
• Keep accurate records of milk yield, animal health, and breeding.
• Implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks on the farm.
• Oversee calving processes and ensure proper care of newborn calves.
• Manage breeding programs, artificial insemination schedules, and fertility tracking.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare, safety, and dairy industry regulations.
• Plan and coordinate daily farm activities for efficient workflow.
• Monitor milk storage, cooling systems, and quality control procedures.
• Handle emergency situations involving livestock health or equipment failures.
• Control farm inventory including feed, medicines, and dairy supplies.
• Report farm performance and operational issues to management or owners.
