I qualified in paediatrics in the year 2000 in India. After that, I worked at level 2 hospitals (trust/self-owned, except for the period when I went to the UK and did PALB 1, 2 MRCPCH 1, 2) and then migrated to Australia in 2007. I worked at different 4 reputed Level 3 NICUs in Sydney including a unit managing surgical patients.
I worked in Transport Services (NETS), Pediatric Emergency and PICU additionally. I qualified in Neonatology in the year 2013 and migrated to India where I raised and managed a Level 3 NICU & PICU. I worked as director and lead clinician here for almost 10 years.
Now I am in the largest NICU (Westmead) in Sydney to further my skills. I have dealt with hundreds of critically sick kids throughout my career and enjoyed a high reputation as a critical care specialist through the years. I have great procedural skills and am a very confident person when it comes to managing critically sick patients.
I am trained in growth and developmental assessment, point-of-care ultrasound, high-risk follow-up clinics, and Neonatal abstinence syndrome clinics. I have done research projects as part of my neonatal training and involved in teaching at various levels throughout my career.
