Project Engineer Material Flow - Warehouse Operations Plant

Here, raw materials and components are received, stored, picked, and delivered to various production departments. Semi‑finished products and bulks move continuously between departments within an automated warehouse that is constantly evolving.
Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you are part of the Support team within the warehouse. Together with your colleagues, you support the operational department and various other departments. You will interact with a wide range of teams and take responsibility for a diverse set of tasks. You contribute to the continued growth and optimization of our warehouse and play an active role in the success of our production processes.
Responsibilities
Developing and executing projects, including:
- Capacity management, such as commissioning new freezers or warehouses
- Optimizing transport processes (e.g., moving tanks and vessels)
- Shipping validation and drafting quality agreements with carriers
- Improving washing equipment
- Supporting automation of the interface and extending AGVs to the production lines
- Digitizing administrative warehouse processes
- End‑to‑end project management
- Acting as the point of contact for establishing new flows for new products or departments
- Analyzing and resolving issues for operational teams and production departments
Profile
- You hold a relevant university degree or have equivalent experience
- You are a true team player with a hands‑on mentality
- You have strong communication skills
- You work analytically, both based on data and through constructive collaboration with stakeholders
- You can maintain oversight of various parallel projects and set clear priorities
