Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with analysts, developers, project leaders, and UAT testers to write, create, develop, and maintain test scenarios and test cases.
- Executing tests during the development phase to ensure product quality.
- Performing (non-)regression testing to ensure the integrity of existing functionalities.
- Reviewing and approving deliverables from other testers, such as scenarios, plans, and automated tests.
- Ensuring that all tests are conducted in the appropriate environment and monitoring their execution and test framework management.
- Managing timelines, monitoring progress, and providing comprehensive test result documentation and communication to the team leader.
Technical experience:
- ReadyAPI (SOAPUI, LOAD TEST, and SECURITY)
- Webservices REST
- IBM Integration Bus (IIB WebSphere Message Broker)
- Java (Scripting Selenium)
- Quality assurance testing: Selenium
- Knowledge of other tools and methodologies including SQL, PostMan, JMeter, JIRA, and possession of ISTQB certification
