I am the owner of JP-IT Consultancy BV, where I focus on IT management and infrastructure services for midsize companies in Flanders. With a broad generalist background, I have the ability to oversee diverse platforms and environments, ensuring that IT supports business goals rather than just operations.

I thrive on challenges and new opportunities, always eager to expand my knowledge and bring additional value to companies that need strong IT leadership and management.

I started my career in IT after earning my Bachelor in Applied Informatics. My first role was as a Support Engineer at Legio International, where I gained hands-on experience with network maintenance and IT support. From there, I moved to Stadsbader NV, taking on responsibilities in IT Helpdesk and System Administration, which gave me a solid foundation in hardware and user support.

Later, I transitioned into development at Skyline Communications, working on drivers for their Dataminer software. After that, I joined Orbid NV, where I grew from Junior System Engineer to System Engineer, focusing on infrastructure projects and network health.

In 2018, I stepped into a Senior System Engineer role at Axxes IT Consultancy, managing long-term projects for companies like Vyncolit, Santander, and ECS2XL. My work included server and network infrastructure, virtualization, automation, security improvements, and ITSM implementation.

Since 2023, I’ve been running my own company, JP-IT Consultancy BV, where I act as a hands-on IT Manager for Sumitomo Bakelite Europe. I lead major infrastructure renewals, security implementations, and compliance projects (NIS2/TISAX/ISO27001), while also advising on IT strategy and managing support teams.

Over the years, I’ve continuously invested in professional development through certifications and advanced training. I earned MCSA Windows Server 2012 R2, MCSA Office 365, and Azure Administrator Associate, which strengthened my expertise in Microsoft technologies and cloud environments. I also completed ITIL Foundation for process management and VMware VCP-DC for virtualization.

To stay ahead in the field, I expanded my skills in PowerShell automation, Windows Server (2012–2025), networking (Aruba, Extreme), and security solutions like Checkpoint Harmony. This ongoing learning journey has allowed me to combine technical depth with strategic IT management capabilities.
