Masters Research topic: Clunk Noise phenomena in gearbox of electrical vehicles.
Performed my internship at Siemens Industry Software NV (SISW) together with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium, supervised by Claudio Colangeli and Karl Janssens, researching UAVs Sound Signature and Quality Analysis, implementing measurements in quadcopter drones using acoustic camera, microphones and accelerometers, data processing and evaluating through digital signal processing using softwares as Matlab and Simcenter TestLab for achieving the estimation of sound quality meters and sound signature of the drones. Developed my graduation thesis in ”Modal analysis and characterization of electric guitars”, evaluating the influence of the instrument’s geometry in the vibrational behavior of the instrument through numerical simulation, laboratory testing and model validation.
The acoustic engineering bachelor from Federal University of Santa Maria is divided between 3 years with basic engineering subjects and 2 years with specialization subjects. In the specialization subjects I have learned about the Fundamentals of acoustic and vibration, noise vibration and the human body, modeling and numerical simulation in acoustic and vibration, advanced digital signal processing and data processing, electroacoustics, building acoustics, room acoustics, psychoacoustics, subjective acoustics, experimental measurement instrumentation and programming.
