Norm graduated from Sir George Williams University (now known as Concordia University) in Montreal, Canada, as well as the Université de Montréal, (Faculté de Droit) Faculty of Law many years ago. For over thirty-five years, he practiced as a Title Attorney and Civil Law Notary in Montreal, Canada. However, when Norm expressed his exhaustion from practicing law, a friend advised him to retire, stating that he wouldn't be retiring from life but rather from his profession. Norm heeded this advice and pursued book reviewing as a hobby, utilizing the skills he had honed during his years in the legal profession. Initially, Norm restricted his reviews to travel and adventure genres, but he gradually expanded his scope to include many other genres, such as business ethics, sports, Internet, Judaica, Canadiana, adventure, historical adventure, travel adventure, contemporary topics, politics, photography, music, fiction, and non-fiction.
