Abir Arefin

I am a Master of Public Health graduate looking to begin my career in the field of mental health. I am especially interested in mindfulness-based interventions and working with youth with mental health issues. I am interested in natural health practices and am seeking to work in an environment that promotes holistic health. 

I have over 10 years of work experience in various medical offices, including 4 years as a file clerk, over 4 years as a receptionist in a busy ultrasound clinic, and over 3 years in sleep clinics. I have also obtained customer service experience through working as a customer service representative at Indigo Books, and through serving experiences in Whitby and Pickering.

I have a background in life science from the University of Toronto and a master in public health from Western University. This education will help me provide consumers with informed decisions about their health needs and guide them to their buying decision.
