An innovative and reliable chemist with more than 10 years of research experience in analytical, organic, inorganic, environmental technologies, catalyst development, organometallic synthesis, carbon dioxide activation, lignin depolymerisation and green chemistry techniques.
During my doctoral research, my projects focused on the development of homogenous transition metal catalyst precursors. These catalyst systems are used for the aerobic oxidation of lignin model compounds and used for coupling reactions of CO2 with epoxides to produce cyclic carbonate. I have extensive experience in innovative design, synthesis, optimization and characterization of molecules with specific properties.
I have in-depth knowledge of experimental methodology, including modern and environmentally more benign methods, such as solvent-free and renewable resources, and elucidation of structure-function relationship and data analysis and interpretation using broad range of analytical instrumentation including NMR, GC-MS, HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR and DRIFTS, MALDI-TOF MS, Parr reactor and Microwave reactor.
