I have 10+ years in Energy Management plus 6 years in the Aerospace sectors at various institutions, Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, certified in Energy Studies from the University of Toronto. My work experience involves providing technical expertise and innovative strategies Nationally in Canada, and leading projects focused on driving down energy use intensity and emissions, strategically selecting buildings by province to lower emissions serve the responsibilities of this position. I have a passion for energy management and sustainability, am familiar with issues surrounding climate change, and have working knowledge of the GHG Protocol and applied knowledge of carbon accounting and measurement.
Tasks I am experienced in as the sole National Energy manager are developing strategies and targets, the 5 yr plan YOY and path to 2040 on emissions reduction, creating business cases, program plans, budgeting and delivering execution milestones, and determining impacts of current strategies align with this position. In addition, I budget and forecast utilities nationally, a portfolio of approx. $160 Million. The time spent at my current position have allowed me to hone my abilities and take on more much more challenging opportunities.
