Highly responsible and safety conscious Certified Red Seal Journeywoman, currently seeking anopportunity to further develop my skills and experience within a related position for a progressive employer.
Offer recent training on all basic welding techniques including oxyfuel, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW andGTAW (mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel) in addition to having practical experience with all above processes
Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings in order to lay out, assemble, weld, and fabricate projects according to exact specifications
Proficient in the safe and efficient use of all general hand and power tools in addition to industry-specific tools used within the welding trade
Keen attention to detail skills used to measure and cut materials accurately ensuring little to no unnecessary waste
Maintain a clean and organized environment at all times resulting in increased overall efficiency and safety of the work site
Clean Class 5 Driver’s License and experienced in the operation of forklifts
Currently hold CWB tickets for MIG positions flat, horizontal, and vertical
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and time management competencies used toprioritize and complete tasks according to urgency and company established timelines
Safety focused professional who ensures compliance with all industry and company safety policies
Good physical condition and able to complete strenuous tasks for extended periods of time withoutthe risk of injury or fatigue (able to lift 50 lbs comfortably)
Contribute in a positive manner to an effective team while also being a productive independent worker
Able to pass a medical, physical or any and all security clearances required by the company
Quick learner with the demonstrated ability to receive verbal instructions, observe and then implement skills without requiring additional instructions
