I’m a Vancouver-based Latino animator who grew up in 7 countries before settling in Vancouver to attend Emily Carr University of Art and Design. I graduated in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor's of Media Arts in 2D+Experimental Animation.
I specialize in character Illustration, 2D in-between, rough, and character animation. After directing my grad thesis film, El Coqui y El Tiki Tiki, I worked as a character, rough, and clean-up animator on Emily Carr Alumni short films- Stardust, Ink or Swim, Home is a Feeling, and Overtime Overdrive. I’m proficient in Toon Boom Harmony, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Photoshop, Adobe Animate, and Premiere Pro.
Due to a childhood of cross-globe moves and 5-18 hour plane rides, my sole source of entertainment was cartoons and drawing. As a result, my art and animations explore themes of cultural heritage, family, identity, and media I enjoy.
Over 1.5 years of experience in retail customer service and 5 years of animation experience, with 2 years of experience working as a freelance 2D animator for indie 2D animation projects
Graduated from American International School of Bucharest in Spring 2019 with a high school diploma and an International Baccalaureate Certificate.
Then went on to study 2D and Experimental Animation at Emily Carr University of Art and Design from Fall 2019 - Spring 2024, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Media Arts in the field of 2D and Experimental Animation.
