I am a personal chef and part time UI designer that recently moved back home to Sarnia Ontario from Ottawa. I pride myself in my versatility in the kitchen, having experience working in all areas from managing staff, organizing banquets, and menu development for both pastry and main coursed items. I have spent time volunteering and fundraising for local women shelters and I am very passionate about making quality food available to everyone, no matter the dietary restriction or other circumstance.
In my spare time I design user interfaces for local businesses to help build their brand and standout online so they can become a recognized authority in their respected marketplace.
Having worked in the food industry for the past several years, I have developed a wide range of skills spanning past just cooking. From managing and developing new menu schedules several weeks in advanced, to deciding and recording daily quotas, costing new menu items, organizing and attending staff meetings, and ordering, managing, and rotating inventory.
In 2018, I attended The Canadian Food and Wine Institute, graduating at the top of my class and receiving the Tyson McKay Scholarship.
In 2021, I completed the Introductory to UX Design through the University of Michigan, receiving a certificate.
