Anna Holland

Hello, my name is Anna Holland I am 30 years old. I have over 14 years experience in the hospitality sector and am currently looking for a part time or full time position as either a server, bartender or customer service representative. I have excellent communication skills, am a quick learner and work well in a team environment. I am a great problem solver and work well in fast paced environments. When I am at work, I focus on the task and always perform to best of my ability with great service. When I am not at work I enjoy reading, playing music, and hanging out with my dog and husband.

I started working in the restaurant industry at the age of 14 as a bus girl. I grew up in a tourist town in Ontario so restaurants were very busy in the summer. I worked for a fine dining Italian restaurant for 7 years as a bus girl, server, bartender and assistant floor manager. I had the opportunity to travel to Australia and worked there as a nanny for 6 months. When I returned to Canada I moved to BC where I worked for a remote heli ski company in the winter months and in a pub during the summer. The heli ski company I worked for was a busy environment and I had the opportunity to really enhance my service skills there. I was the bartender for 40 guests every week where I had to learn all of their names by the second/ third day, complete alcohol orders for the company, do cash outs and provide full wine service/ bar service during dinner hours and after dinner.

I received my high school diploma in 2010 with honours. I have completed half of a RMT program with VCC in Burnaby and am currently taking a break to focus on making more income.
