Elevating Employee Experiences

As an authentic, results-oriented, innovator and integrator with a wide range of experience collected over my 11+ years with CIBC, I continually centred my passion: enabling and accelerating people’s success. I am confident that my people-centric and business-balanced approach, ability to deliver industry-leading programs, and commitment to continuous growth makes me an ideal candidate for a People & Culture position.
Throughout my career, I have consistently exceeded targets by balancing business objectives with people needs. Introducing various people development and experience programs, I have increased BIPOC representation by 34%, enabled 38% of gaps in delivery plans to be closed, and established exposure opportunities for high-performing participants to secure 87% of total CIBC Digital growth opportunities in F22. With programs like, Digital University, an immersive learning and development platform to establish a fulsome awareness of the business and enhance collaboration across the business, and Enhance, a skill-building marketplace to enable team members to flex or form skills and sponsorships while closing priority delivery gaps, I have shown my unremitting commitment to creating equal access opportunities for all to learn, grow, realize their potential, and achieve their ambitions, while simultaneously enabling the delivery of key business priorities.
Steadfastly, I create and foster equitable opportunity and access to growth and development to support career and goal fulfillment for both my employee and local communities. With the outbreak of COVID-19, a Shadow Pandemic emerged as instances of violence against women intensified. When health services, domestic violence shelters, and helplines reached capacity, I took it upon myself to activate. Engaging local women’s shelter, Street Haven, I deployed Pathways a career readiness program matching CIBC Digital talent with shelter clients whose careers and lives were disrupted by periods of abuse, addiction, and/or homelessness. To nurture, empower, and support these women as they began a brave mission to restore and rebuild. In its first year, Pathways enabled 89% of participants to successfully secure full-time employment, and 11% to enroll in continuing education.
My success in delivering differentiated experiences is a direct result of my ability to create, inspire, influence, and lead cross-functional, collaborative, inclusive, diverse, and equitable teams to unlock and amplify the scope and scale of the people’s and program’s potentials. Recognizing this strength, Laura Dottori (Senior Executive Vice President, CIBC Personal and Business Banking), appointed me lead across her channel’s experience, exponentially expanding and elevating the reach of my strategic programming. I am drawn to aspirational, captivating, engaging, exceptional and luxurious experiences for all, given my value-alignment.
