Augustine Kyei

My path career-wise is software development and maintenance in the IT sector. I pride myself in my back-end skills with software as compared to my front-end, and develop software on my spare time to sharpen my abilities. Some of my projects are on GitHub, but my biggest one is an e-commerce site that I work on casually at the moment, for all of the software engineers, my strongest language is Python(I use Django more than not lately). Currently I study Data Structures and Algorithms, with the University of San Diego, California.

Outside of that I have a lot of experience working with disabled and chronically ill older adults, as my previous interest was social service work. All in all, I think that my experience with that helped me shape a pretty somber view of how much technology can help people in those living conditions.

I've had experience doing quality assurance testing and maintenance with Goji tech in 2022. I was responsible for UX/UI changes as well as creating ideas for and implementing changes that could streamline the product's goal with the software engineer team. I made use of my front-end knowledge and worked with the neuro-llinguistic programming AI to help the gojivoice app accurately aide doctors' documentation process. Some of my troubleshooting experience included using ChromeDev tools, utilizing ticketing systems and reading front-end code on the client side.

Right now I work with G2i as a software engineer training AI outputs and doing code reviews mainly, and I've freelanced for an organization as a web designer/dev. I mainly have proficiency using python as it's the skill I've homed more than anything else technical skill wise. I have many other skills that are related to it and I've made an e-commerce app as a project.

Currently enrolled in a certification program with the University of San Diego, California.

Completed a Meta certification through Coursera for Back-End Developers.
