Jardin des Collines is a small market garden business providing fresh fruits and vegetables to the local community since 2020. Jardin des Collines’ mission is to provide fresh, local, ecological and affordable food to the community, while developing tools and technology to create a better agriculture for all. Jardin des Collines is significantly expanding their cultivation area in 2023.
The co-founders, Aurélie and Maxime, share a passion for the environment and conservation. After receiving degrees in biology and soil biodiversity, they established Jardin des Collines-de-l'Outaouais in 2020 with the goal of providing their local community with fresh, tasty, environmentally friendly and affordable fruits and vegetables. At the heart of their farm, Aurélie and Maxime work to make fresh and nutritious food more accessible.
This is why Jardin des Collines-de-l'Outaouais is also a site where they scientifically develop tools and techniques for small-scale ecological agriculture for the benefit of all. Each of their actions and choices are made with full awareness of their environmental impacts. Jardin des Collines-de-l'Outaouais is committed to always making informed decisions that will never jeopardize the balance of their ecosystem.
