I am a dedicated professional with experience as a Protective Services Supervisor with GardaWorld and as a sports umpire. These roles have helped me develop strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, spending time on the ball diamonds with my family, and enjoying the outdoors.
I value time with family and friends and appreciate opportunities to stay active, connect with others, and contribute positively to my community.
I have completed my Grade 12 diploma and have developed strong leadership, communication, and public safety skills through my professional experience. As a Protective Services Officer and Hospital Metal Detector Security Supervisor with GardaWorld and the Saskatchewan Health Authority, I am responsible for maintaining security, controlling access, responding to incidents, enforcing policies, conducting investigations, writing detailed reports, and working closely with healthcare staff and law enforcement when required.
My security experience has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, assess risks, make sound decisions, and interact professionally with diverse members of the public. I regularly use conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques while maintaining a safe and secure environment. My performance has been recognized through being named GardaWorld Ambassador of the Month.
In addition, I serve as a Certified Umpire Instructor/Evaluator for Softball Canada and as the Zone 7 Umpire Director for Baseball Saskatchewan. In these leadership roles, I train and evaluate officials, organize clinics, assign personnel to events, and ensure standards are upheld. These positions require integrity, accountability, professionalism, and the ability to make fair and unbiased decisions in high-pressure environments.
As a certified baseball, softball, football, and ball hockey official, I have extensive experience enforcing rules, managing conflict, communicating effectively with participants and spectators, and maintaining control during competitive events. These experiences have strengthened my confidence, situational awareness, and ability to exercise sound judgment.
My combination of security experience, supervisory responsibilities, leadership roles, public interaction, and commitment to community service has prepared me well for the responsibilities of a Deputy Sheriff. I am confident in my ability to uphold the law, ensure public safety, work effectively within a team, and represent Sheriff Services with professionalism, integrity, and respect.
I have successfully completed my Grade 12 diploma, which provided me with a solid educational foundation in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management. Through both my education and professional experience, I have developed the skills and maturity needed to work effectively in challenging environments, follow procedures, and interact professionally with diverse individuals.
