As a highly capable and self-starting professional and Juris Doctor graduate, I apply strong communication, organization, and initiative skills to deliver on company goals and departmental objectives.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to work in a range of different industries such as mortgages, insurance, travel and customer service, sales, and security. In relation to my experience in the legal sector, I have worked in two law offices in support functions. During my most recent position at Baidwan & Baidwan Lawyers, I provided administrative support to three lawyers specializing in family, criminal, and real estate law.
I had the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of practices and live deals. My responsibilities included analyzing purchase and sale agreements, financial statements, preparing closing documents, registering deeds and charges, and preparing final reporting letters. I created, drafted, and maintained office files, assisted lawyers with real estate transactions, improved productivity by organizing documents, created workflow systems, coordinated meetings, and tracked primary and secondary sources and law databases, all while displaying a high degree of professionalism.
At Sohi and Bansal Law Office, I worked as a summer student, supporting the busy office of two real estate lawyers. I assisted them in maintaining, organizing, and creating firm files, attended to phone calls, and completed general support duties.
