I am Ayomide Ogunnaike. My friends call me Ayo.
I started out my career as a civil engineer and I loved being on the field executing the designs and seeing the sketches become a thriving space. I transitioned from being just an engineer to becoming the project coordinator given that I seemed to gravitate towards organising the people on the site as well as the resources to ensure that projects were delivered on time and delays were managed properly.
This spark became ignited with every project completed and I started learning more about project management. I have fully transitioned to becoming a project manager and business analyst. My focus is primarily on thoroughly understanding the client’s requirements which then feeds into the development of a clear business case, and other documentation. I also integrate technical and analytical skills with my strengths in problem-solving to drive project completion to time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
I leverage my over 5 years of expertise to support process improvement and transformation in dynamic environments such as product & software development, construction, operations management, events, and design. I am highly skilled in project management and process analysis, requirements analysis and have a record of accomplishments as the primary liaison between various stakeholders and vendors. I also have an excellent understanding of the Waterfall and Agile methodology.
So far, I have worked on varying software projects such as fintech solutions, death care software, fitness apps, logistech solution, several websites, and other bespoke solutions.
Did I mention that I am a PMP certified Project manager?
