I am a recent graduate from the Criminology and Justice program at Ontario Tech University. I have 4 years of experience in written and hands on projects in relation to legal procedures and crime prevention prevention. I am actively looking to pursue a career in crime prevention and my field of studies relating to criminology.
I have proficient oral, interpersonal and written communication skills, excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines, exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and am able to work well independently or in groups. My passion of law thrives from the perennial desire to help people and assist in the diminish of crime through legal procedures and applying analytical techniques to crime.
I am currently a server at Chucks Roadhouse and have 7 years of experience in customer service which has enabled me to work under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment. I have worked at one restaurant prior to this job and one fast food restaurant prior to that job all of which I was at for a minimum of one and a half years.
I have recently graduated from Ontario Tech University and earned my Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Justice. This was a four year program to which I was able to acquire as great deal of experience both hands on and in the classroom where I was able to grasp a thorough understanding of every aspect of the law such as policing, courts, crime patterns, crime prevention and understanding the way the criminal mind works. I maintained a high GPA throughout my four years and was able to achieve an honorary award of the Dean's list which required a minimum of a B+ average.
The experience I have obtained through my degree has mentally, intellectually and physically prepared me for beginning applying my knowledge and pursuing a career in the legal field.
