Burhan Hussein

I have extensive experience in synthetic, physical, materials chemistry, biochemistry, and radiochemistry. My PhD research at Durham University (UK)investigated a radically new approach to increase crop and food production levels and provide a sustainable increase in productivity for food crops and yield utilizing artificial molecular devices. My master’s research was on the synthesis of dyes for next-generation photovoltaics. My role as a postdoctoral fellow at Institute—Montreal Neurological Hospital (The Neuro) at McGill University a world-leading research hospital in neuroscience– exposes me to the world of biotechnology companies as my position is a part of academia/industrial collaboration with Fuzionaire Diagnostics, developing new cancer therapy and diagnostic agents using novel chemical platforms incorporating radioisotopes. I have the wealth of scientific knowledge and experience needed to understand complex scientific problems and processes.
