Cait Markham

Hi! I’m Cait, a student at the University of Waterloo studying Arts and Business with a strong interest in social work and child development. I’ve worked in several roles centered around supporting and caring for children, including volunteer and paid positions in community programs, camps, and early learning environments. I’m reliable, patient, and passionate about creating safe, supportive, and fun environments for kids to learn and grow. I genuinely enjoy building connections with families, parents and children alike and helping them feel comfortable, confident and supported.

I have a lot of hands-on experience working with children through camp counseling, babysitting, volunteering at a nursery, swim instructing, lifeguarding, and working at a library. These experiences have strengthened my ability to stay patient, organized, and responsive to each child’s unique needs.

I’m currently a student at the University of Waterloo studying Arts and Business, with a focus on social work and child development. My coursework and volunteer experience have strengthened my understanding of family dynamics, child growth, and how to have a positive impact on families, and create caring and safe environments.
