Hello, my name is Celina!

As I near the completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, along with my Infant Toddler and Inclusive Practice certifications, I am eager to bring my passion for responsive, relationship-based care to a childcare centre I can lay my roots in.

Through my four six-week practicums and experience working with young children as a dance teacher and nanny, I have developed a deep appreciation for creating nurturing environments where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore. In my practice, I prioritize building trustful relationships with children and families by being present, responsive, and attuned to each child’s unique needs. I believe that daily care moments—feeding, diapering, transitions—are meaningful opportunities for connection, communication, and learning. By valuing these interactions, I aim to foster a sense of security and belonging that supports children’s growth and confidence in themselves, their ideas, and voice.

I am eager to continue learning and growing throughout my career, making sure children always receive the best version of myself. I dream to be collaborating with a team that shares my commitment to high-quality early childhood education where we can be in conversation, sharing readings, experiences, and theories that work together to reimagine what quality care can look like. I have my 1 year ECE certificate and just need 500 hours under an ECE to get my 5 year certificate with IT and SE on it as well.

Early Childhood Education Bachelors Degree, infant/toddler, inclusive practice, and first aid.
