I hold a bachelors degree in software engineering from McMaster University, and am currently finishing a CS Masters Thesis degree researching the use of machine learning for improving biological discovery in super-resolution cell imaging.
My primary professional experience is as a research assistant at Simon Fraser university investigating the uses of machine learning for biological discovery in cell images. Previous work was as a software developer in a 16-month internship where I developed enterprise-level software managing video and audio IP routing infrastructure for broadcast.
