Insurance Agent - Pilot Project (My Allstate) at Allstate Canada (2023-01 – Present)
As a personal property insurance agent, my role in this project was to provide practical insight from both the client's and agent's perspective to ensure the My Allstate Application is user-friendly and efficient.
- Identifying Pain Points: sharing real-world challenges that client and agents face with the current system, such as difficulties in submitting documents, inability to reset the password themselves, or the high volume of calls for simple requests. Finding ways to incentivize clients to use the application and incentivizing agents to promote it during calls.
- Enhancing Client Experience: advising on how to streamline document submissions, for example: filing claims, adding drivers, suspension of guarantees, to make the app intuitive and easy for clients to use. Finding areas that need improvement.
- Optimizing Agent Workflow: recommending features that allow agents to receive and process requests more efficiently, reducing reliance on phone calls and manual paperwork.
- Testing and Feedback: Testing functionality and providing feedback to developers to ensure the app meets the industry and clients needs. Collecting data on current situation and contrasting it to how bettering the app will have a positive effect on both client's experience with Allstate while facilitating agent's workload and efficacy.
- Ensuring Compliance and Accuracy: Making sure the app aligns with insurance regulations and company policy such as correcting FAQ and adding or removing information while still making it simple for clients to navigate.
