David is a Caribbean born ESG enthusiast, with 10 years experience in the investment industry. David has operated at the cutting edge of ESG research and engagement in critical areas such as business ethics, climate change, responsible taxation, diversity and inclusion, sustainable agriculture and corporate culture.
David is an industry pioneer on ESG research regarding racial diversity having authored two first of their kind major research papers on the topic.
David’s current buy side role involves industry leading ESG integration practices including carbon analysis, direct engagement with 50+ companies a year including many CEOs and board members of holdings companies, and an intensive in house security selection process.
As an on-going economics educator David also recently published an economics textbook and is an adjunct professor at his undergraduate alma mater -Trent University.
David achieved his master’s degree in international economics from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of London.
