Implement daily activities and social interactions for residents.
· Encourage self-expression of people supported and utilize knowledge of verbal and nonverbal communications.
· Advocate for our residents and observe and collaborate with the staff and health care professionals to report any changes in the residents condition as well as any residents needs or concerns.
· Demonstrates diplomacy when dealing with difficult situations, focusing on resolving the clients and families concerns while being gentle, calm and professional.
· Book wheel-trans/taxi for outings and appointment for individuals.
· Check and order inventory.
· Complete purchases with company card and upload on SAP Concur program for reconciliation.
· Processes incoming and outgoing communications (verbal, written, electronic) by prioritizing and referring to the appropriate person in an efficient and timely manner.
· Complete orientation and training for new staff and volunteers.
· Stay updated on policies and procedures on the company and attends staff meetings.
· Promote the people we support to develop decision-making skills, exercise choices and assume reasonable risks.
