Digen Mavani

I am a Policy Planner with the City of Charlottetown, where I work closely with residents and City Council on a daily basis. My role involves reviewing Short-Term Rental applications, preparing policies and bylaws, and drafting reports to support both residents and Council. I also respond to public inquiries and guide applicants through the City’s development procedures, ensuring clear communication and a smooth process for all stakeholders.

I have progressive experience in urban planning and policy development, currently serving as a Policy Planner with the City of Charlottetown where I review development applications, prepare policies and bylaws, and provide recommendations to Council. Previously, I worked with municipalities and private developers on sustainable transportation, land-use planning, community engagement, and project coordination. My background includes research, report writing, public presentations, and hands-on fieldwork, supported by strong technical skills in GIS, AutoCAD, and Adobe software.
