Hi I'm Dylan, 31 years old from Gander Newfoundland. I've been living in Alberta for the past 10 years where I've been working as an Instrumentation Technician and over the last 3 years I've been a maintenance/commissioning/turnaround planner. My hobbies are golf, snowboarding, hockey and basically anything else outside. I'm a hard working, driven, personable person and I believe I would be an asset to any company who is willing to bring me on.
I am a Red Seal Instrument technician and I studied at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology where I was always at the top of my class. Over the years I've worked in basically every facet of Instrumentation. I started in a maintenance shop where I would rebuild pumps, valves, pressure switches, chart recorders. Then I moved up to running a truck and on a regular maintenance run around Lloydminster. Then I accepted a position with Studon Electric to begin my construction career. In 4 years I would make my way up to being a general foreman with Iconic Electric & Controls, where I ran crews of up to 10 people. From there I went to be a contractor for Suncor in a commissioning coordinator role, and also where my planning experience started when I would help with the commissioning scheduling and the turnaround planning. When work dried up there I got a role with Dow Chemical as their Daily Maintenance Planner which I am currently working today.
Red Seal Instrumentation Technician from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
