My name Eli and I am a recent graduate of the Kinesiology program at University of the Fraser Valley. I am passionate about physical activity and helping others. I love being outside, which is reflected by my job history of coaching, refereeing, working at a golf course. Additionally, I enjoy hiking, camping, skiing and biking. I am proud to say I recently completed my first triathlon. I am looking for a job where I can utilize both my physical abilities and help others.
Innovative Fitness: (February 2022-Present) Professional Training Coach Design and implicate optimized training programs for my clients depending on their individual goals and limitations.
18 Pastures Golf Course: (2015-2019) Maintain the golf course including but not limited to: Cutting grass, driving tractors and lawnmowers, chains sawing, weed whacking, aeration, roofing installation, installation of irrigation and sprinkler systems, repairing golf carts, and collecting garbage.
Physiotherapy Assistant (2019-2022)
Assist Physiotherapists with manipulation, set up and apply modalities to patients, clean treatment rooms, fold laundry.
Soccer Referee (2013-Present): Over 300 soccer games including both Youth and Adult soccer leagues. My role as a referee has shifted throughout the years and I have gotten the opportunity to mentor and assess younger referee's in Abbotsford, volunteer at Special Olympics events, Indigenous and Indo-Canadian tournaments and highschool provincial championship games.
Bachelors of Kinesiology: (B.Sc.) University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)
During my time at UFV, I enjoyed learning about the importance of both psychological and physical health in the context of performance and general well being. In the future I hope to continue on with my schooling and pursue a career such as clinical counselling or physiotherapy where I can utilize my knowledge to help make a difference in the lives of others.
