- Designed toboggan ski profile in SolidWorks, creating a ski that allows for effective steering, and prevents yaw rotation.
- Developed concrete mix, informed by research on innovations in concrete mix design and previous mixes used by the team, producing a strong and sustainable mix.
- Maintained, and established new sponsor relationships for the team, acquiring the necessary materials for fabrication of 6 concrete skis and test cylinders.
- Manufactured 6 concrete skis by making ski molds, and leading concrete pours to create performant skis.
- Wrote two safety reports and a technical report to prove the viability of designed skis.
Camp Manager Jun. 2022 – Aug. 2022 & Jun. 2023 – Aug. 2023
Pedalheads Bike Camps, Ottawa (Orléans), ON
- Managed ~ 15-member summer camp staff team, scheduling, and daily activities by communicating expectations, supervising, assisting staff, creating activities, and leading by example to deliver a positive and educational camp experience where kids learned road safety and how to bike on two wheels while having fun.
- Created a positive work environment, helping to train incoming staff, mentoring, assisting, and guiding all staff, while teambuilding, to give staff an enjoyable work experience while seeing increasingly better results and customer satisfaction as the summers progressed.
- Handled customer service, by interacting with parents, addressing any questions or concerns they had, leading to increased re-registration and improved reviews of our camp.
