• Conducting a pilot study on the in vitro colonization of STEC O157 in bovine/porcine colonic samples.

Managed the project "Development a bacterial-based product to inactivate the mycotoxin deoxynivalenol (DON) for practical use for animal feed".

• Analyzed various environmental and rumen samples through aerobic and anaerobic cultivation to isolate potential DON-degraders.
• Utilized plate culture methods, including aseptic handling, serial dilution, plate washing, and streaking, to isolate a single DON-degrading strain from a mixed consortium.
• Utilized comparative genomics and transcriptomics to screen DON-degrading genes in the DON-degrading strain.
• Involved in a rumen, nasopharyngeal microbiome culturomics project.
• Utilized anaerobic cultivation in CO2 chambers and various selective media to isolate bacteria from the rumen and nasopharyngeal.
• Focused on bovine respiratory diseases (BRDs) such as Mannheimia, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma and Histophilus.

Involved in the whole genome sequence analysis of Shiga toxin producing E. coli project.
