I am a candidate whose goal is to reach out and make a difference within a community, and my sense of achievement is when I had a chance to help and create a hopeful and learning environment. I have honed my soft skills within 5 years of customer service, and have built up my language repertoire by becoming a polyglot. For now I speak 4 languages and I am currently learning my fifth one. I also am well versed in cataloguing and circulation within the library, having handled ExLibris with MARC21 and AARC. I have also done logistics during my time in customer service.
I have worn a lot of hats and first worked in a call center office in 2017. I was able to handle high volumes of calls and de-escalate a lot of complaints. Then I worked in Banana Republic while going to school, and there I have acquired the skills for communication with people and fulfillment of online orders.
After this, in 2019, I contractually worked with the North York General Hospital as a Laboratory Technician and learned the skills of teamwork. In 2021, I worked with CAMH as a dietary attendant, and had served over 50 clients according to their individual diets requested by the dietitian.
In 2022, I worked with Dynacare and learned the value of team building. After that, I worked alongside Ontario Provincial Parks in North Beach Provincial Park, and acquired the skill of resilience & logistics, as well as my French skills.
In 2023, I temporarily worked with Seneca College as a Student Ambassador, and learned my library skills. I decided to pursue my French skills and proceeded to work in Boutique Expressions in Vieux-Québec.
I have learned my library skills within the Library and Information Technician Program under Seneca College.
