I am a third-year commerce student at the Smith School of Business pursuing a sales, marketing, and consulting career. I have a love for basketball, selling shoes and clothes, and skateboarding. I have a previous history working as a sales associate at a Village Grocer and a business development representative at AdCommunal. I am a lifetime learner committed to getting better each and every day. As a proactive and analytical individual, I am eager to contribute Behaviour Interactive's mission of innovation and creativity. If you give me the opportunity, I promise to exceed your expectations.
In my past role as a business development representative, I attained valuable experience in identifying and assessing market opportunities, forming relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies for driving growth. These skills are directly transferable to a sales role, where I would use my analytical skills and interpersonal skills to execute sales tasks and work within a team. Overall, I am confident that my experience in business development has prepared me well for transitioning into this role. I am excited about the opportunity to apply my skills and expertise to drive growth in a new capacity.
My experience with BDR was transformational. I learned a lot from forming relationships with my clients, increasing visibility through search engine optimization, and utilizing MS Office software to execute profitable marketing strategies. It ultimately solidified my ideal career path. I want to work for a leader that adapts to modern-day trends and upholds ESG, CSR AND EDII, and Acosta hits all marks in that regard.
My time at the Smith School of Business has allowed me to build my skillset and become ready to enter the business world. I have attained meaningful relationships by attending countless networking events, coffee-chatting industry professionals, and forming lasting friendships with my faculty. The professors and curriculum taught were the most engaging and insightful content I had ever expected from the school, and I can honestly say there was no class I did not enjoy. Overall, the experience is something I would not trade for anything in this world and I will cherish it for the rest of my life.
