Farhana Begum

I’m a freelance Communications and Marketing Specialist with experience in social media management, content writing, copy editing, and digital marketing. I help small businesses and nonprofits build a clear, consistent online presence with strategic messaging and high-quality content.

I am a Communications and Marketing professional with experience in content creation, social media management, digital strategy, and community outreach. I currently work as a Communication Specialist at the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC), where I manage newsletters, social media campaigns, blog content, and media relations. I also have experience supporting small businesses through freelance communications and running my own henna art service, giving me hands-on knowledge of branding, client management, and service promotion.

I hold a Master’s degree in International Marketing Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. I also completed a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Communication and Public Relations in Winnipeg. My academic background combines marketing, business strategy, and communications, helping me build strong skills in brand messaging, campaign planning, and digital storytelling.
