CD19-CAR T cells as a treatment for Burkitt lymphoma were the focus of my Ph.D. thesis. Functional characterization of T cells embedded with novel VHH-anti-CD19 nanobodies in vitro and in vivo. As well, I have been assigned to an optimization study for large-scale lentivirus production with the goal of producing CAR-T cells. As part of my master's degree, I also investigated how preconditioning MSCs enhanced their effectiveness in treating mice with acute liver injuries
