Harkomal Walia

I am a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University, where I earned my degree in Business Economics and minor in Statistics. I am currently doing part time job as a cashier and customer service representative which has enabled me experience working in fast-paced environments. I have demonstrated commitment and ability to cope with stress in providing excellent customer service.

I have learned a lot about communication skills dealing with the team and customers. I am also a cofounder principal and currently running a financial literacy program.

I am a CFA Level 1 candidate with strong interests in financial markets and wealth management. I have experience in analyzing and solving problems, time management, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills. I have experience in managing academic projects, volunteering events, and creating and managing a financial literacy program.

I am proficient in using Microsoft office, Tableau, Python and R Studios. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. I have worked as a cashier, Principal Co-Founder and Program Coordinator, Vice President/Director of Administration, Assistant Researcher, Financial assistant and Lead Volunteer.

I also have experience in mentoring students.
