Jacob Guitard

I am a dedicated and team-oriented individual with a strong passion for becoming an electrician. Through my secondary school education, I strategically pursued Co-operative Education, Dual Credit, and the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) to work towards my goal of becoming an Electrical Apprentice. I am eager to expand my skills and grow, while providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.

I have hands-on experience in electrical work as a labourer and apprentice, working with companies like KE Electrical, Robyn Brett Electric, and CQS Electrical. My responsibilities have included installing conduit, running electrical wiring, assisting with material setup, and troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision. I also gained customer service and inventory management experience as a sales representative at The Electrical & Plumbing Store.

I graduated with my Ontario High School Diploma in 2024 and was the recipient of both the Skilled Trades bursary award and the OYAP award. I have completed the Introduction to Electrical Trade Theory at Algonquin College and am currently pursuing Level 1 Electrical (309A) training. Additionally, I hold various safety certifications, including WHMIS 2015, Worker Health and Safety Awareness, Working at Heights, Mobile Elevating Work Platform
