I am a highly motivated self-taught software developer with a deep passion for computer science and information technology. I always dreamed of becoming a software engineer. However, due to certain circumstances, I ended up choosing Mechanical Engineering - a field I genuinely enjoyed.

Yet, I felt that it was not my true calling. To explore my software development skills, I worked on some minor projects. These endeavours further strengthened my conviction that software development is my true calling.

I have more than 4 years of experience in front-end development, where I have used React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. Among 4 years, I have 3 years of full-stack expertise in Node.js, GraphQL, and both SQL and NoSQL databases. I enjoy taking on challenges and am always looking to improve my skills.

I have worked on a variety of projects, from my first internship to a full-time developer role to a technical lead position at Saathealth. I have also mentored teams and taken on leadership responsibilities. My experiences at uOttawa and Homiis demonstrate my flexibility and commitment to creating efficient solutions.

I'm driven by a desire to continuously learn and contribute meaningfully to the world of software development. I bring skills and an attitude that says 'I won't stop until the job's done right.'

I am a software engineer with extensive experience in frontend and full-stack development. Throughout my career, I have built robust web applications using modern technologies such as React, Redux, Node.js, TypeScript, and various CMS platforms. At Hawn Consulting, I developed interactive websites that adhered to best practices and accessibility standards.

At Homiis, I worked on developing a NextJS website integrated with Stripe, optimizing performance, and deploying serverless backend solutions on AWS, significantly enhancing efficiency and time-to-release. During my tenure at iCanbewell, I contributed to agile development teams, implemented unit and integration tests, deployed Docker containers, and developed ETL processes for data analysis.

At Saathealth, I led multiple projects, including the rapid development of a new company website, the creation of a GUI-based schema tool, and the implementation of efficient serverless backend functions. My role also involved mentoring junior developers and orchestrating data visualization tools to enhance decision-making capabilities. My diverse experience demonstrates my ability to deliver high-quality software solutions and my commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

I completed my Master of Systems Science and Engineering at the University of Ottawa, graduating in December 2023. During my studies, I gained deep insights into systems engineering principles and developed advanced technical skills, preparing me to tackle complex challenges in the software development and engineering domains.
