In my early days, I was unknowingly talented in media. What started as leisure, it was until I began to study at Seneca, that allowed my talent flourished and grow. After studying for two years, I have a deeper and more passionate understanding of the entertainment media industry.
Baffling at first I was, and still am, astonished as to how easily I clicked with important roles in this industry. Yet I am most proficient and skillful as a camera operator and as an editor. Nevertheless, from pre-production to post, and to live production, I can succeed in any role when given the task with my expanded skillset.
As of this written description, I have no professional experience yet. Despite this, I can apply my skills with the knowledge I've gained and learn more within my future work field.
Through Seneca College, I now know many roles that come into play within the media industry. As I began the program, I was self-taught and had limited knowledge. After over 2 years of studying and applying what I have learned, I have the expertise to fulfill roles such as a camera operator, focus puller, editor, live switcher, audio mixer, and many more.
