A highly self-motivated aspiring leader known for exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to critically analyze data to derive valuable insights to inform key business decisions for optimizing operational efficiency.

For most of my early career, I participated at the intersection of technology and health, gaining extensive experience managing sensitive data and information including healthcare administrative data, patient health information and vaccine administration guidelines developed by public health advisors. These early career exposures sparked my keen interests in Information Privacy, Data Protection, Confidentiality and Data Hygiene, thereby influencing my decision to pivot into Data Privacy.

As an emerging Privacy professional from a non-traditional background, I faced several challenges officially breaking into this industry.

Therefore, while I proceed to navigate my way through the Canadian Privacy ecosystem, I hope that my story will one day inspire a generation of ambitious individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially young girls and women from racialized communities, eagerly seeking opportunities for my field to welcome them in as well!
