About

I have developed experience and skills which I trust could be of some value to your organization. My relative experience includes serving on the boards of various financial institutions including Vice Chair of The Co-operators Insurance Company, Chair of SERVUS Credit Union and most recently Governance Chair of Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation. I have also had a long successful career serving the people of Edmonton and by extension the citizens of Alberta as Deputy Fire Chief of Operations for the City of Edmonton.

These experiences have taught me the value of service and the need to embrace constant continuous learning. My experiences and lessons have also taught me the importance of Insurance, both from the on set of an event to the mitigation of a loss. More importantly, the effects of both things on people’s lives.

In reviewing Peace Hills value statements, I recognize my alignment not only with your company but also the passion I have for the insurance industry when it stays people focused.
