Julia Toews

I am a recent PhD graduate with expertise in endocrinology and metabolism, having used both in vitro and in vivo models to answer my research questions. I'm currently seeking a scientist position with a collaborative and innovative team, with whom I can learn, grow, and make a difference in human health.

• Collaborative team player: acted as both leader and team member on multi-disciplinary teams to complete 9 scientific publications over the course of my studies

I recently completed my PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology, which followed an undergraduate degree in Honours Biochemistry; both from the University of British Columbia.
