Karan Parmar

My name is Karan (pronounced Car-in) and I am an aspiring content creator. I have completed my schooling at Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & New Media and have just recently completed my diploma in the Radio Arts and Entertainment program at BCIT. I am passionate about content creation and love telling stories, filming and editing videos, and engaging with communities.

I am open to doing various different types of media work so let's connect and create something great!

I previously worked as a Communications Specialist where I was responsible for creating weekly newsletters, social media marketing, event planning and hosting, creating engagement with the local community and much more. I also worked as a crew worker at McDonald's for two years and both of these jobs have taught me how to be a great team player and how to create stronger bonds with our clients.

I have completed my schooling at Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & New Media and have just recently completed my diploma in the Radio Arts and Entertainment program at BCIT. Both of these programs taught me how to be a good storyteller and content creator while also teaching me the tools to do so.
