I was a Carrier/Operations Planner before I took an early retirement of 32 yrs. at Canadian Tire Supply Chain Corp.in Brampton. I moved further north and completed some home renovations through covid, took online courses and now looking to move on to my next steps.

• Supports and communicates successful transportation pick-ups and delivery of merchandise from vendors and 3pl hubs and stores.
• Optimized routing schedules to minimize transit times while reducing fuel consumption and service.
• Providing exceptional customer service through effective communication with clients at every stage of the process.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding hours of service, weight limits, and hazardous materials handling for appropriate equipment selection. Worked with our garage when equipment breaks down or safety expires and needs to be inspected and updated.
• Spot quotes from carriers during peak season.
• Presented progress reports regularly to senior management during project update meetings. Monitoring and recognize any potential issues with inventory coming from orient/domestic vendors going to 3pl facilities. Respond to customer inquiries (CTC stores) on deliveries. Maintain accurate records of shipments, ensuring proper tracking and timely delivery. Review carrier invoices for any exceptions to be reconciled.
• Collaborated with teams to align goals and ensure project successes setup, planning, execution, delivery and financial reconciliation of merchandise shipped via Direct Ship channel to our store network. Knowledge of in-house and transportation systems.
• Prior to Carrier Planner of 23yrs, I held several other positions within the Corp. as follows NRG clerk, Dealer Inquires, Data Entry Clerk, Battery and Mail clerk.
