Katie Smith

I have experience in conservation ecology, data analytics and public outreach, and am deeply passionate about addressing the challenges of our changing climate through natural solutions. Equipped with strong skills in data analysis, ArcGIS, Python, and R, I have actively contributed to projects encompassing vulnerability assessments, climate projection mapping, and species distribution modelling. Pursuing a master's degree in Climate Change, my coursework has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of climate change adaptation and mitigation techniques, climate data analytics, and resource management. Outside of my studies, I have volunteered in regenerative park initiatives and community garden networks to promote sustainable practices.
