Hello,

During my teaching experiences, I created lesson plans, evaluation criteria handouts, and assessed students according to multiple facets. I also participated in extra-curricular activities such as chess club, drama club, track and field, and basketball. I enjoyed the responsibility of coaching different sports.

I took great care to include students of varied skill levels and capabilities. I also took initiative in my community by volunteering at my local parish, Our Lady Queen of the World for Confirmation.

I believe that an inquiry-based education in a comprehensive school system such as yours will benefit a child for years. I have worked for the past two years in different elementary schools. I have learned how significant the transition is for students during this time.

I have gained more experience leading a class. I have also planned lessons and participated in extracurricular activities such as ECO club and drama. It was a great experience where I gained knowledge and utilized strategies that I learned to create an inclusive environment.

During my time at St. Jude and Saint Teresa of Calcutta, I directed young students and helped them learn in a productive environment. I worked a full schedule of classes, recess duty, lunch supervision and extra-curricular activities. Finally, I am confident assisting Special Education students as I have completed Special Education Part I and it has helped me learn more about exceptional individuals and how to assist them with their learning.

I believe my skills and experience enable me to excel as a loyal, cooperative, and capable teacher. Thank you for considering me.

• Taughtstudents in grades 7/8. Created a challenging project entitled What Would I like to Learn where the students had the choice of topic and researched it
• Initiated and carried out the idea of an International Night for the school, where each classroom chose a country, researched, and presented it to parents
